The Sunday Post: Issue #33 ~ The One Where I Suffer a Blogging Funk

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

For some reason over the past couple weeks, I have been in a bit of a reading and blogging funk. Things have been kind of busy with work and life and I feel exhausted when I get home and I have been traveling quite a bit over the past few weeks too. I didn't even do a Sunday Post the last few weekends! I've come out of it now but man I was worried for a bit :-) I have my one year blogoversary coming up on 2/20 so I'm excited to start working on that post and I'm planning a really great giveaway so check that out next week..

  3. Happy birthday! Sorry about your blogging funk, but at least it's over. That's one reason I'm working on getting posts scheduled in advance. I haven't always been good with that, but I really want to get ahead.

  5. Happy Birthday again love! I feel you on the blogging slump, I was in tears last night over it. :( My blogiversary is on the 19th, how odd that we started our blogs within a day of each other! I should really write something up for that :/

  7. Awesome haul and Happy Birthday. Are you blogging by the seat of your pants? In other words you have no blog posts scheduled for the next two weeks and do them the night before etc. That can lead to burn out. Try writing up reviews of books you read pre-blogging ..they can be mini reviews, throw in a few discussion posts etc and give yourself a boost. You can also reach out to bloggers and authors for guest posts to fill some days. Sometimes the pressure can lead to burn out. Also unplug once a month and do maintenance or catch up. Hope it passes Chelsea.

Happy Birthday! So many awesome books, I don't even know where to start. On the fence, flawed perfection, and the hazards of a one night stand all look awesome!

And I totally understand about the blogging slump. We all go through them. If you ever want to talk or vent, shoot me an email :)
