This week's topic is:
Back to School time! Create a reading list for the imaginary English Lit class you'll be teaching this semester.
I don't know much about teaching and English Lit class but what I remember from my English classes in school was a lot of classics. I'm not much of a classics reader but I do have a few books that I read for English in high school that stuck with me so those would be the books I would assign.
The Giver by Lois Lowry
Cold Sassy Tree by Olive Ann Burns
Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
The Giver, yay! My mom made me watch Little Women so many times. It's a great story though. :)

Chelsea, I was thinking of The Giver too. I'm yet to read it, but I have read the Little Women, but I want to read The Little Wives, which I'm yet to get to.
ReplyDeleteTo Kill A Mockingbird was also on my list.
My Friday Hop
