Feature & Follow Friday Blog Hop #23

Feature and Follow Friday is a weekly meme/feature hosted by Alison Can Read & Parajunkee.

This week's topic is:

Back to School time! Create a reading list for the imaginary English Lit class you'll be teaching this semester.

I don't know much about teaching and English Lit class but what I remember from my English classes in school was a lot of classics. I'm not much of a classics reader but I do have a few books that I read for English in high school that stuck with me so those would be the books I would assign.

The Giver by Lois Lowry

Cold Sassy Tree by Olive Ann Burns

Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer

To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

  3. Chelsea, I was thinking of The Giver too. I'm yet to read it, but I have read the Little Women, but I want to read The Little Wives, which I'm yet to get to.

To Kill A Mockingbird was also on my list.

Yay for The Giver and To Kill a Mockingbird! I love those books! And Little Women too! I decided not to do this one this week since I couldn't pull myself away from Teen Wolf long ago to focus. LOL
