This Week's Question is:
Is there a song that reminds you of a book? Or vice versa? What is the song and the book?
Honestly, I LOVE to listen to music while I read so I am always connecting songs with books. I even do IPOD picks with my reviews. A few that really stand out to me is "Let me Down" by Kelly Clarkson and the book Beautiful Disaster. "Poison & Wine" by The Civil Wars always makes me think of Falling Into You by Jasinda Wilder. I could probably go on and on but those are the 2 that really stand out for me.
What about you? Are there any songs that really connect you with a book?
Hopping through. I admire how much you connect books to music. I love Poison and Wine.

DeleteOh, I can't do music with reading. I can barely stand the boyfriend watching TV in the same room.

I hate silence. I always have to have some noise going on around me. I prefer music over TV :-) Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI have yet to read those two books, but there on my TBR list.

They are both really good. I especially love Falling Into You. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI like Kelly Clarkson a lot.
ReplyDeleteEspecially some of her old songs.
Nice choice!:)
Thanks for stopping by earlier.
Thanks! I love Kelly Clarkson and have a lot of her songs on my IPOD. :-)
DeleteI love both those songs, but I haven't read either book. I do plan on reading both of them at some point. Of course I never have time. Thanks for visiting my F&FF. Old follower.

Falling Into You is one of my favorite books this year! Thanks for stopping by :-)
DeleteHi, Chelsea. I can't read and listen to music at the same time, so don't connect the two together. I get too distracted if something I love comes on as I then start singing along with it. I like to concenrate on one at a time. :)

Haha, so many people think I am crazy that I can listen to music while reading. In fact, I crave it :-)
DeleteGreat choice for Beautiful Disaster. I never listen to music while I read because it's too distracting for me. I end up listening to the music instead of paying attention to the book.
ReplyDeleteI had a hard time with this question.
Thanks for stopping by! I actually crave music when I read. For some reason, it helps me immerse myself in the book.
