Top Ten Favorite Books I Read before I was a Blogger
I just started blogging in February and I have read a lot of books since then that I would consider some of my favorites but I did read a lot of books before then too so here are some of my favorites before the blog.
Tempting the Player by Jennifer Armentrout as J.Lynn
The Selection by Kiera Cass
The Help by Kathryn Stockett
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls
Half Broke Horses by Jeannette Walls
The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein
Bound by C.K. Bryant
Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen
Ethereal by Addison Moore
I haven't read any of these. I wanted to read The Help though and hope to see it soon; the film was such a good one :)

The Help is really good. I read the book before the movie and they did a good job of staying true to the book.
DeleteHunger Games is on my list as well! I also love Tempting the Player. Great list!
ReplyDeleteTeresa @ Readers Live A Thousand Lives
Thanks! Who wouldn't love those Gamble brothers ;-)
DeleteYou have some great books on your list. The Art of Racing in the Rain was good, different sort of book that I too thoroughly enjoyed.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure what Tempting the Player is about but I like Jennifer Armentrout and that cover looks sexy so I might need to give it a read!

Thank you! The Art of Racing in the Rain is the reason I no longer read books about animals :-)I would highly recommend Tempting the Player if you like adult novels.
DeleteSome really great books!! I really want to read Tempting the Player soon.

ReplyDeleteLove THE HELP, THE HUNGER GAMES, WATER FOR ELEPHANTS and I so want to read ETHEREAL :-)
Thanks Faith! The entire Celestra series is amazing! You should definitely read it.
DeleteWow, this is the first list that I haven't seen HP on!! Some really awesome books though :)
ReplyDeleteMy TTT :)
Haha! I do love HP but I figured everyone would have it on their list. Thought I would mix it up :-)
DeleteI just finished The Selection and am excited to read The Elite! I also want to read The Help! :) My TTT list: http://aliceinreaderland.com/2013/04/08/beforeblogging/
ReplyDeleteAlice @ Alice in Readerland
I read The Selection last year when it came out. I definitely need to do a re-read before The Elite.
DeleteI've only read The Hunger Games and The Help, both of which I loved. Most of the rest of them are on my TBR list, though. :) Water For Elephants is actually *on* my desk right now, waiting to be read soon. lol
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my TTT

I hope you enjoy Water for Elephants. It is an exceptional book, so much better than the movie.
DeleteI've read a few of these, but all were while I was a blogger. Since I've been at it since 2006, it was hard to come up with books I read BEFORE I started blogging. I managed to think of 10, but only barely!
ReplyDeleteI can imagine how difficult that was. I had a hard time and I have only been blogging a few months. So many of my favorite books have been read over the last few months, thanks to connecting with other bloggers. :-)
DeleteGreat list Chelsea! I loved the Selection! And I also had THG on my list. I really liked Water for Elephants too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my TTT!

I have seen HG on a lot of lists today :-) Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteOk, I'm going to have to add a few of these to my TBR list... of all of them, I've only read THG! Great list! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! You should definitely read Art of Racing in the Rain but be prepared to shed some tears, especially if you are a dog lover :-) Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI'm seeing a lot of THG today! I love the Water For Elephants pick - that is a book I literally could NOT put down once I started.
ReplyDeleteErin @ YA Book Crush
