Swoon Thursday: The Darkest Night by Gena Showalter

Swoon Thursday is a weekly meme hosted by YA Bound.

From the book you’re currently reading, or one you just finished, tell us what made you SWOON. What got your heart pounding, your skin tingling, and your stomach fluttering.

Shout it out on Twitter with the hashtag #YABound, post it here in the comments, or grab the adorable button above and share it on your blog! We want to know :-)

This week my swoon moment is from The Darkest Night by Gena Showalter.

"Arms still banded around her shoulders, he lathered his hands. He set the soap on its perch and began the slow-- really slow-- process of cleaning her from head to toe. His soapy fingers snaked along the soft curve of her hips, on the sweet roundness of her belly. She gave another of those groans, the sound eager and this time just for him. Her head fell back onto his shoulder in open invitation, an action that said, do with me what you will."

It's been a while since I've read an adult paranormal but this book reminded me why I love the genre so much. This book was full of like 10 swoon-worthy men and they all get their own stories. I can't wait to read the rest!

  1. I've only read her young adult books (Alice in Zombieland and the sequel) but I loved those AND I love paranormal romance. So, I should definitely try this out.
