Saturday @ Starbucks: Best of 2013

Saturday @ Starbucks is a periodic feature hosted by Starbucks & Books Obsession.

This week's Best/Worst topic is:
Best of 2013

What I'm Drinking:
Starbucks Pikes Place Blend

I have noticed the "Top Ten of 2013" hosted by Two Chicks on Books, Fiktshun, and Magical Urban Fantasy Reads, around the blogosphere. I didn't really have time to participate but it got me thinking about my "Best" reads of 2013. I've read 250 books this year so it's tough to pick a favorite from the categories. I just had to go with the book(s) that first popped into mind and this is what I came up with. Let me know what you think!

Best Dystopian Series
Divergent by Veronica Roth

Best Contemporary Romance
Finding It by Cora Carmack

Best Paranormal Series
Lux Series by Jennifer Armentrout

Best New Adult
Unspoken by Jen Frederick

Best "What the F*$K?"
The Opportunist by Tarryn Fisher

Best Love Triangle
Fate Series Heather Lyons

 Best Tear Jerker
Falling Into You by Jasinda Wilder

Best Young Adult Series
Pushing The Limits by Katie McGarry

Best New Adult Couple
Cameron & Avery from Wait for You by J. Lynn

Best Young Adult Couple
Rachel & Isaiah from Crash Into You by Katie McGarry

Best Contemporary Couple
Maggie & Clay from Find You in the Dark by A. Meredith Walters

Best Emotional Torture
In Too Deep by Michelle Kemper Brownlow

Best Comedy
Tangled by Emma Chase

So that is my Best list for 2013. What's yours?

OMG 250 is a lot of book! Congrats. And here I thought reading 100 was good. :) You have read a lot of good books and many I hope to read in the future.

I saw the best of posts going around but I just didn't have the time to do one. Maybe I'll make up my own little post to put up on New Years.

  3. I love this list! I have made two Top Ten Lists (Best YA and Best NA), but I kind of like this way of breaking it down better. I may try to do them on Tuesday or something. Anyways- I agree with so many of these picks! :D As if there was any doubt I would since we love the same books!
