Saturday @ Starbucks #6: Teasers & a Cinnamon Dolce Latte

Saturday @ Starbucks is a weekly feature hosted by Starbucks & Books Obsession.

To join in, just re-post the topic and  link back to the host. Grab a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate and do a post on the topic.

This week's topic is:
Teasers & a Cinnamon Dolce Latte

Drink of the Week: Cinnamon Dolce Latte
I wasn't sure how I would like this drink because I usually like sweeter lattes but this was surprisingly delicious. It is perfect for an evening latte because it isn't strong at all and the cinnamon on top adds a little extra kick.

Book Topic: Teasers
This week, I read and reviewed Apollyon by Jennifer Armentrout and I am currently reading Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare so I thought I would share a teaser from each. Enjoy!

Apollyon Teaser:

Lungs burning as if I'd been underwater, I sucked in a deep breath and jerked. When the light receded this time, gunmetal gray eyes stared into mine. "Alex?" Relief tinged Aiden's tone, making his voice deep and tight. His eyes were shadowed by concern, but there was a twinge of anger way in the back of them. "Gods, Alex, I thought..."

Clockwork Angel Teaser:

His steady gaze held hers. His blue eyes were very dark, uniquely so. She had known people before with blue eyes, but they had always been light blue. Will's were the color of the sky just on the edge of night. His long lashes veiled them as he said, "Sometimes, when I have to do something I don't want to do, I pretend I'm a character from a book. It's easier to know what they would do."

Hope you enjoyed the teasers and try out the drink of the week if you haven't yet. Next week's topic will be Favorite Villains and a Caramel Macchiato.

  1. I don't get to go to Starbucks that often, it is a 45 minute drive. :( The latte sounds good, right about now too. Great teasers.

    1. Oh no! I don't know what I would do if I lived so far away from a Starbucks :-) I live in Seattle so there is one on every cornere, probably why I am addicted.

    1. Thanks! The cinnamon dolce latte was good. I didn't think I would like it but I really did. If you loved the lux series, you should definitely read the Covenant Series.

  3. I am so jealous! I have been wanting to read the series CLockwork Princess is a part of. I know there are 2 diff series. Whats the other one? Mortal Instruments City of Bones? Is that associated with CP?
I love cinnamon and its good for you too. I have never tried the cinnamon dolce though. I'm going to SB this week so I may check it out if I can resist the java chipp frapp or an iced latte.
This is fun I cant wait until next weeks post! I ended up going out today thats why I am late visiting you.
There are so many SB's around my area that when I hear ppl live so far away from one its a bit of a surprise to me.
I love Dunkin DOnuts too. I dont know how far across the US they spread, but they are pretty good.
Let me know what next weeks topic is :)

    1. This is my first Cassandra Clare book. I have had them on my TBR for a while. I have seen so much about the Clockwork Princess and all 8 of her books were 1/2 off for the Kindle last weekend so I bought them. There are 5 mortal instrument books and then the 3 infernal devices books. They are a prequel to the Mortal Instruments. So far, I am really liking it too. I think we may have Dunkin Donuts here but I have honestly never had their coffee. I may have to try it sometime. I couldn't imagine not having a SBUX near me. I think I would die :-)
