The Sunday Post: Issue #2: News Flash! I have a purchasing problem

A few of my awesome blogging buddies and I have started doing a weekly read-along over the weekend via Twitter. I thought the Sunday post would be a great way to spotlight the other girls reviews.

This week's read-along was Tangled by Emma Chase
Tonya didn't join in this week and Danielle wasn't feeling it so she didn't finish.
Jessica @ Lovin Los Libros
Wendy @ Book Scents
Check out all of their awesome reviews for this book!

Books I received for Review/Blog Tours
Big thanks to all of the authors for providing these books for review! Also thanks to NetGalley for The Silver Chain & Losing Hope, thanks to Xpresso Book Tours for Fevered Souls and thanks to Kelly @ Inkslinger PR for Taste of Heat.

Books I Purchased at Amazon
Seriously, this is getting out of hand. I need an intervention! A couple were free though :-)

Books I Returned
I never return books, but due to a shocking case of plagiarism, I returned Amazingly Broken, which I purchased last week, to Amazon.

  1. HOLY BOOK PURCHASES! I feel so much better now. I got Taste The Heat from Rachel and loved it! SO good. And I have Losing Hope, but don't know when I'll get to it. (Or Hopeless!) Yay for Emma's books! And Heather's Fate books! (I'm about to start on those this afternoon!) GAH. I have Wide Awake and Picture Perfect, but haven't gotten to them. Surprise, surprise. LOL. I could keep going, but I'll stop there. Happy reading!!!!!

  2. I know right?!! I went a little crazy this week. I prob won't pick up much next week since I'll be on vacation so I was just making up for that (that's what I need to tell myself). I am going to start Taste the Heat next week, can't wait!

  4. No more than me sweetie. I have it worse than you by far. Not to mention I'm a Net Galley/Edelweiss addict. So don't feel bad. You got some great books. Come visit me as well.

  5. Oh, I am hooked on preordering books...and then I realize, as a new month begins, that I have gone WAY over budget...and end up cancelling orders! lol

Luckily, I've found a few freebies (Amazon Vine books) that allow me to save a few bucks.

  7. I know what you mean. The one-click feature is dangerous. I don't realize I bought so many until I do my Sunday post. :-)

I understand where you're coming from. I also buy many more books each week than I can read...especially right now when I've been busy and not reading as much. There are so many great sounding books though and you've gotten some good ones! Happy reading

  9. Let's not call it a purchasing problem so much as a keen eye for good books. And it's market research for your blog too. OK, feeling better!? LOL. Look forward to seeing reviews for these to see if I too should grab them :-)
