I've seen lots of people mention Dave Pelzer's books and man, I agree, those are some TOUGH reads. It's mind-boggling that there are people in the world who could treat defenseless children so cruelly. *Shudders*

Easy is the only one I've read and I love it. It deals with assault in a very empowering way. Most of the others are on my wish list and mostly because of reviews you've written!
