15 Day Blogging Challenge: Day 10

This challenge is hosted by April over at Good Books, Good Wine. It is a new, unique challenge to put some spark back into blogging. Day 5 challenge is to Discuss how you choose which book to read next

When it comes to choosing books, I don't really have a system for picking my reads. The only time I pre-plan books is when it's from an author request, NetGalley or for a blog tour. I keep a planner and then schedule out my books in my planner for when I need to read them.

When it comes to "just for me" books, I usually just browse my carousel of unread books and usually a couple will pop out to me and I will re-read the synopsis and make a decision. I am an eBook hoarder so I have at least 100 unread books on my Kindle and I keep acquiring more so picking a book to read is getting harder and harder.

What about you? How do you pick your next book to read?

  1. I'm really behind on the blogger challenge - I think the last one I did was day 7 :O I guess I should go and write my next challenge post right now, so I can catch up and let you know how I choose which book to read next ;)

My kindle has several hundred books I haven't read yet also, and it's a little scary to think about it sometimes. I am an avid one-clicker, so it's not as if the unread books will decrease, either.

    Have a beautiful day, Chelsea!

  2. Hi, my name is Persephone and I hoard books. If I have less than 100 I get nervous.

  4. I am with you on the anxiety. I get tight chested just thinking about all the books sometimes. Yet, I one-click like crazy every single week.

  6. I know, I get more every week which is making it damn near impossible anymore. I'll have to start doing random picking!
