15 Day Blogging Challenge: Day 12

This challenge is hosted by April over at Good Books, Good Wine. It is a new, unique challenge to put some spark back into blogging. Day 5 challenge is to Discuss how you fight blogger fatigue

I am a newbie blogger so I can honestly say that I haven't gotten blogger fatigue yet. I have been going steady since I started 4 months ago. However, I have noticed that the longer I have been blogging, the busier I seem to get and summer is a busy time of the year for me so I have had a few overwhelming days where I just don't have enough time in the week for all the books and blog posts I need to do. Sitting down and writing out a schedule including the books to read that week really helps calm my nerves and get me back in the groove.

I am excited to read all your posts and see how you handle blogger fatigue. I look forward to getting some great ideas for when I am eventually really hit with it.

  1. I am a newbie blogger, too. We can be the new chicks together :0)
I haven't had to deal with much fatigue either. Days I get busy are hard to work around but I manage.

  3. Yay!! Love meeting new newbies :-) I agree, it is mostly trying to work everything in on a busy day. I mostly get overwhelmed trying to respond to comments and visiting other blogs.

  5. Oh hey, you started your blog around the same time as me :D I'm surprised I haven't really stumbled across your blog before. Thanks for stopping by mine!

I wonder if there's a certain timeframe for when blogger fatigue becomes a threat? I'm with you, I haven't quite reached it yet. I have definitely had moments where I've felt overwhelmed or guilty because I haven't been able to do all the things I want to do (especially when it comes to visiting and commenting on other's blogs), but I've never felt like quitting or stopping or anything like that. I think part of it is just because it's a new adventure that is exciting (I still get shocked when I see a new person has stopped by and commented) and part of it is because I don't force myself to do anything I don't want to do. It's all about having fun!

Eek sorry for rambling! I hope you continue on without that silly blogger fatigue and keep loving what you do :)

  6. No serious fatigue here either. Sometimes it gets overwhelming but that's my fault because I've taken on more than I can handle! LOL.

  7. I am so glad I stumbled onto yours the other day. I loved your topic! You have a really good way with words :-) I agree, I haven't become fatigued but maybe overwhelmed at times. Trying to visit and comment on other blogs while doing all my blogging work, full time job and reading! I need more hours in a day. It is fun and exciting though. Thanks for stopping by!
