Book Quotes I Love & a Latte
Coffee of the Week: Vanilla Spice Latte
I have wanted to try the Vanilla Spice Latte from Starbucks since they introduced it a few months ago I just never got around to it so I decided this would be a good time. It isn't much different from a regular vanilla latte but the spice adds just a bit of extra flavor that gives it a little kick.
Book Quotes I Love
I read a lot of books and have had a lot of favorite quotes over the years so I decided to pick a few quotes from books I have read recently since they are fresher in my mind. Here are a few of them:
"To me there's a difference between not being afraid and acting in spite of fear, like he does." Tris from Divergent (by Veronica Roth)
"For the first time, he looks as young as he is, and I wonder who he really is. Who is he when he isn't Dauntless, isn't an instructor, isn't Four, isn't anything in particular?" Tris from Divergent (by Veronica Roth)
"He is not sweet or gentle or particularly kind. But he is smart and brave, and even though he saved me, he treated me like I was strong." Tris from Divergent (by Veronica Roth)
"Beautiful face. Beautiful body. Horrible attitude. It was the holy trinity of hot boys." Katy from Obsidian (Jennifer Armentrout)
"Yeah, it's kind of a hobby. What's yours? Kicking puppies?" Katy to Daemon from Obsidian (by Jennifer Armentrout)
"He kissed me like he was a man starving for oxygen and I was the only air he needed to breathe." Avery from Wait for You (by J.Lynn)
"Everything was okay. Maybe not perfect but life wasn't meant to be perfect. It was messy and sometimes it was a disaster, but there was beauty in the messiness and there could be peace in the disaster." Avery from Wait for You (by J.Lynn)
"People can be cruelest to those they love." Perry from Under the Never Sky (by Veronica Rossi)
"She felt as though she'd found a moment forever. Like this was how they should have always been." Aria from Under the Never Sky (by Veronica Rossi)
"Most things, even the greatest movements on earth, have their beginnings in something small." Lena from Delirium (by Lauren Oliver)
"Love, the deadliest of all deadly things: it kills you both when you have it and when you don't." Lena from Delirium (by Lauren Oliver)
"That is what hatred is. It will feed you and at the same time turn you to rot. It is hard and deep and angular, a system of blockades. It is everything and total." Lena from Pandemonium (by Lauren Oliver)
